What is FICOD
Between 1 – 3 December, the Madrid Municipal Congress Centre hosted the most prominent event in the digital economy sector in Spain: FICOD 2015, an event with a clear international focus that brought together the most important stakeholders in the sector in its different facets: the industry itself with its companies and professionals, ideas and tendencies with leading international speakers, talent with young people and a wide range of training in new digital professions, and business with entrepreneurs and investors, all in one place.
FICOD is the International Digital Content Forum a key tool of the Digital Agenda for Spain and an event organised by the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism through Red.es which drives and encourages the development of the Spanish digital economy, both inside and outside our borders, as one of the main motors of current growth.
The Forum, which in 2015 was holded its seventh edition, has became an essential meeting point for all the players in the industry and those interested in any of the multiple facets in the digital economy. Every year, FICOD covers new and inspirational themes, being the main European and international reference point for the concentration of ideas, tendencies, success stories, companies and innovative products in the digital economy.
Developments in virtual reality and the internet, video games, e-business, the digital transformation of companies, intelligent lighting, entrepreneurship, communication, digital marketing and training, were all essential issues within the FICOD program.
The FICOD public
FICOD, with its free entry, was positioned to serve and attract both companies and professionals as well as any person seduced by the digital ecosystem. Its diverse themes were shown through lectures, workshops, seminars, exhibition areas, spaces and activities for networking and fun activities that made FICOD the biggest event in the sector in Spain and one of the most important in Europe.
